Participants
- Yudong, xiang is one of my best friends. We became really good friends because we both play league of legend. And also he is a computer science major who is good at coding. Therefore, he is best choice of my HTML developer. His evaluation can be really clear and insightful. It would give me so much help just on the coding part. He used his MSI Desktop Computer Vortex G65 SLI-002 Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700K (4.00 GHz) 32 GB DDR4 1 TB HDD 256 GB SSD Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 SLI 16 GB GDDR5 Windows 10 and used google chrome and the Wi-Fi from Mizzou.
- Jianwei, Li is one of my user testers and he is currently a gamer streamer on Huya( a stream platform like Twitch.com in China). We knew each other because he graduated from Mizzou in 2015 majoring computer science and he used to be my roommate and we both love playing league of legend. So as a pro gamer, he is definitely my target audience. And he is more likely to understand what is needed for a successful video game website. It is worth to I asked him to review my design and content on my website. He used iBUYPOWER Desktop Computer NE980F Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700K (4.00 GHz) 8 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 120 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Windows 10 Home and used Mozilla firefox.
- My observed user is Qi, Lin. She is currently a TAM major student at Mizzou. And we knew each other because I am an art major too. So used to have same classes and we became friends. Then I asked her to use the basic IE to see how the site would look like in that browser. And also I asked her to test the location of my few pieces of data that could be found on the website. And she is using Apple Laptop MacBook Pro MJLQ2LL/A Intel Core i7 2.20 GHz 16 GB Memory 256 GB SSD 15.4" and used Internet Explorer.
- My other user tester is Jiahao, Xie. He is also a student form Mizzou and studying Economics. And we knew each other because we used roommates and we both love playing league of legend. He love plying all kinds of computer games (like FPS MMORPG adventure and RTS) and searching and watching all different kinds of video game site every day. So he is a really a experienced gamer that can give me some valuable advices. He is using ASUS GT51CA-XB71K-GTX1080SLI Desktop Computer Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700K (4.00 GHz) 64 GB DDR4 1 TB HDD 1 TB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI

- They all agree that When browsing it, it is obvious that throughout the Video game site domain the database's look and formatting are consistent. Users are able to find requested pieces of information in the minimum number of clicks necessary and they can also take advantage of a detailed site map for easy orientation. Qi thinks The clarity of display works well for the database, but the picture title bar at the top of the screen is a problem as it is somewhat distracting resulting in it overshadowing the more important features. Xie believes that the navigation on the bottom side of the screen serves the intended function of helping users understand where they are and what options are available but it could be improved by enlarging the font. Xiang also found a few problem in my code. I had a few a few capital letters in my tag and some extra semicolons. And Li really does not like the black backgrounds finding the overall website color is too dark to users and is pretty hard to the eyes.so it might be a problem for me to find a pleasing and well-coordinated color choice.
- Overall, they all like my website.it is a good design. But the most important thing is the website content. They all love playing games like me. Even if there are some color or design they does not really like. They still find the website very attractive to them. And also the website was tested on Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer( for both pc and mac). They are work perfectly. There were no comments on page loading difficulties or anything being out of place.

Recommended/Planned Changes
Based on the feedback that I have collected, I propose making changes in the following areas:
- The color: I did not really recive any good comments on my website color. It is for sure too dark and it is kind hard to see with the eyes. So I decide to maybe change the color of the backgroud and the color of the each links and all the textes as well. As i was planed at the very beginning. I really want to add a video at the backgrounnd. I think I will work on this too.
- Navigation:overall, thery thinks the navigation is very good(simple and straightforward).Since I will change the color of the entire website, i decide to enlarge the front of the navigation text as well to make it more clear and easy to find each subpages.
- Credibility: I did not put any citation details on each of the cited videos or images. I will fix this part for sure.
- Code: While this may not affect the site audience, it will make the site more usable. In order to make my pages validate, I will try to correct each error one by one by using the html validator. And my freind Jianwei would also help with the code correcting.
Reflections on Evaluation Process
It is very important to periodically assess and adapt my activities to ensure they are as effective as they can be. Evaluation can help me identify areas for improvement and ultimately help me realize my goals more efficiently. Additionally, when I share my results, it is in some way i am learning from myself. And also Evaluation enables you to demonstrate my website's success or progress. The information I collect allows me to better communicate my program's impact to others, which is critical for public relations, staff morale, and attracting and retaining support from current and potential funders. All in all there were some wonderful suggestions for changes and ultimately this feedback will make the site more robust. And i will try my best to make a wonderful website this semester.
